Today is my 75th birthday! I decided to do something that is waaaaay out of my comfort zone. I set up this blog myself – says one who is technologically challenged – and it probably bears resemblance to no blog in history. I love to write. I am considered the “glue” that keeps our extended family together. I have written stories about most members of my family and I keep journals of travels and experiences. I also keep a diary – five lines isn’t much, but it does jog the memory. In this blog, I hope to record stories about my life for anyone who might be interested in how a poor, countrified, socially inept, chubby girl seized life by the horns and ended up with the best husband in the world and experiences beyond any of my wildest imaginings. Life isn’t always sunshine and roses, but I have learned that the lines in the song – “if you’re going through hell, just keep on going” (or something like that) – are very true and things do get better.
